Which MacBook Pro is 3456 × 2234?
The 16-inch MacBook Pro has had this screen since the 2021 redesign. With almost 7.7 million pixels it shows any softness in a wallpaper, which is why the file should be at the native size rather than a smaller picture enlarged.
The screen is slightly taller than 16:10 because of the strip around the notch. A 4K picture (16:9) is narrower in shape and also smaller than this screen, so macOS has to enlarge and crop it; the exact file avoids both.
