Which iPhone do I have? Find your model and its wallpaper size
Open Settings › General › About and read Model Name: that's your iPhone. Then find it below to see its exact screen resolution, the size a wallpaper needs to fill the screen without being zoomed.

It's the first item under General.
- Read Model Name
This shows the exact model, such as iPhone 16 Pro or iPhone SE (3rd generation).
- Need the model number?
Tap Model Number once and the part number changes to the model number, an A followed by four digits.
Tell by the design
The top of the screen narrows it down fast. Find the design that matches your iPhone, then your model in its list: each one links to wallpapers already cut to that screen.
Dynamic Island
A pill-shaped cutout at the top of the screen that grows into alerts and live activities.

If it won't turn on
Every iPhone has a model number, an A followed by four digits, printed on its box and, on many models, on the phone itself. Apple's Identify your iPhone model page shows a photo of every iPhone with its model numbers and explains where to find the number on each one. The camera layout on the back is another quick clue: Pro models have three lenses, most others one or two.
Get a wallpaper that fits
Several iPhones share a screen, so one wallpaper size often covers three or four models: the iPhone wallpaper size chart lists them all. Common questions
How do I check which iPhone I have?
Open Settings › General › About. The Model Name line shows your iPhone, for example iPhone 16 Pro. Tap Model Number to switch between the part number and the model number that starts with A.
Which iPhones have a Dynamic Island?
iPhone 14 Pro and 14 Pro Max, and every iPhone from iPhone 15 onwards except iPhone 16e and iPhone 17e, which have a notch.
Do iPhone 17 and iPhone 17 Pro use the same wallpaper size?
Yes. iPhone 17, 17 Pro, 16 Pro and 18 Pro all have a 6.3-inch screen at 1206 × 2622 pixels, so one file fits all four.
What if my iPhone won't turn on?
Look for the model number printed on the iPhone or its packaging, then find it on Apple's Identify your iPhone model page, which lists every model number with a photo.
